atbody

New line of attack against cancer and autoimmune disease

atbodies are differentiated by both their unique composition and novel mechanism of action, providing a new class of biologic as an innovative therapeutic solution in cancer and autoimmunity.

A new class of biologics

The novel ‘atbody’ combines multiple targeting and killing domains, enhancing their effectiveness and safety compared to traditional conjugates.

Unique composition

atbodies are highly differentiated due to a unique composition and novel mechanism of action.

The atbody format generates increased potency, stability and superior targeted exposure, potentially improving the therapeutic window and reducing the dose needed without compromising efficacy.

embedded peptide linker

  • Enables product homogeneity and improves in-vivo stability by fusing antibody and toxic peptide payload
  • Reduces the risk of off-target toxicity through improved specificity and better accuracy of payload deployment within the targeted cell.

Full-length antibody with Fc component

  • Reduces clearance rates from the blood
  • Improves half-life and increases cancer cell exposure to the atbody

Peptide payload

  • Enables use of highly efficient payload thanks to an enzymatic killing mechanism of action
  • Confers better potency and improved efficacy

Novel mechanism of action

atbody products and their unique mechanism of action are designed to evade major mechanisms of cancer cell resistance, providing new therapeutic options for cancer and autoimmune disease.

The catalytic activity of the peptide payload reduces the dose required to kill individual cancer cells, increasing efficacy and enabling targeting of non-responsive and dormant cancer cells.

The peptide payload generates a differentiated and non-overlapping mechanism of action to chemotherapy-based therapies.

Building a portfolio of atbody therapeutics

Using our versatile atbiofarm technology, we are building a proprietary pipeline of atbody therapeutics for the treatment of B-cells in hematological malignancies and autoimmune disease. Our versatile platform has also the potential to be extended into solid tumors.

As our technology platform enables shorter development timelines than classic production systems (e.g. mammalian and bacterial expression systems), we anticipate entering clinical development faster than industry standard.

The atbody format has demonstrated efficacy for multiple hematological malignancies in-vitro  and in vivo models as well as in vitro solid tumor models.

Strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies will be pursued to further extend the commercial potential of the technology, generating non-dilutive funding opportunities.
